The success story of Jeanneau started 55 years ago when Henry Jeanneau started building small motor launches and today on its own is one of the biggest boat building facilities in the World with the main plant taking up 105 acres. Jeanneau independently is the biggest producer of powerboats in Europe as well as the second biggest builder of yachts. Over fifteen years ago Jeanneau became part of the larger Beneteau Group of companies, but still operates independently while sharing the buying power of the larger group and some other economies of scale.
