STGi Chantiers Naval commenced building Aventura catamarans in the early 2000's on the Atlantic coast of France building what became the Aventura 23 and 28 catamarans. By 2010 they had introduced their own Aventura 33 to the market, followed by the 43 in 2012. In 2017 the company moved to a new custom facility in Menzal Bourguiba in Tunisia and in 2018 announced a whole new line of catamarans from the French Lasta Design Studio, best known for their design of the Bali Catamaran range.
Testament to their design and construction abilities, the Aventura 34 has been nominated for the "European Yacht of the Year 2019" and previously a finalist for Multihull of the Year 2018 with Multihull World for yachts under 40ft.
