Jeanneau Sun Fast Still Dominating

In the UK a group of Sun Fast 3200’s and 3600’s are regularly achieving top three results in the prestigious RORC offshore series, both crewed and short-handed. In last Saturday’s race, the Sun Fast 3600 “Bellino” was 1st in Division 3, 1st double-hander and 4th overall in the Myth of Malham Race, whilst two other Sun Fast 3600’s finished 3rd and 4th in division 3.

In the previous RORC race, “Game On” came second overall in IRC 3, and won the twenty strong 2-handed division, while the new Sun Fast 3200 R2 “Fastrak XI” came 2nd in 2-handed and 4th overall in the same division.

And 3600′s are winning in the South of France as well, with a 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the SNIM event, one of France’s major events of the season.

Whilst in the Italian “Compionato” Offshore Series the 3600 “Lanatika” is currently lying 1st overall and another “Bora Fast” is 2nd.

And here in Australia Todd Giraudo’s “Kraken” just completed the Freemantle to Bali race double-handed as a warm up to next year’s double-handed Melbourne to Osaka with an amazing 3rd over the line and 2nd overall on IRC.

Meanwhile our very own Victorian based “Maverick” with father and son Rod & Tyson Smallman racing two-handed, have recently finished their first offshore race in 3rd overall against 21 competitors on both IRC and AMS and 1st double-hander in the ORCV Melbourne to Apollo Bay Race.
