Having just got back from Jeanneau power boat conference in Poland, it was amazing to finally see the Group’s Ostrada factory and how much it has grown over the last 20 years. Opening 76 years ago, it can now produce 2,700 boats per year from 6m to 12m, most of which are Jeanneau’s.
Jeanneau also announced the new Merry Fisher 1095 series 2 and had the flybridge version on display at the conference along with the new Cap Camarat 9.0 centre console. Both boats have had a number of comfort and performance improvements similar to the Merry Fisher 895 series 2, and will all be on display at the Cannes Yachting Festival if you are fortunate enough to make it over there from the 9th September. If you are going, please let me know as I will be there for the first four days of the show and might be able to get you some free entry tickets if you are lucky.
But don’t worry if you can’t make it there though, as Jason and Tim have been busy renovating our Chelsea Heights showroom over the winter in preparation for the arrival of the new Merry Fisher 895 Sport series 2 that will be available for inspection from around the 8th September alongside the Merry Fisher 895 series 2.
Both boats will also be on display at the 2025 Melbourne Boat Show starting the 16th October, however if you are interested in securing either boat at a great price before the show starts, please let me know asap, as both boats must be sold before the show finished and we will never be able to replace these boats anywhere near this pricing again.
But if your budget is under $100k, we have just received a 2019 Merry Fisher 605 Marlin on a trailer that is now ready for inspection in our showroom and is the ideal first fishing boat or for someone wanting some more enclosed weather protection from their cuddy cabin.
Alternatively, we also have a 2019 Merry Fisher 795 on display and available for sale if looking for something a bit bigger, but can also be towed on a 3.5 tonne trailer.
