With new boat sales slowing down recently due to the fact nearly all of our orders being delivered this summer are pre-sold, second hand boat sales has been quite strong again over the last few weeks. Noteably three contracts were signed with deposits paid in a matter of hours one morning this week thanks to Chris Furey’s hard work right in the middle of Melbourne’s fourth lockdown and at the start of winter! Some of these recent sales include:
- 2010 Beneteau Oceanis 46 – sold at full price in hours of listing
- 2014 Bavaria 46 Vision – under contract this week close to the asking price
- 2007 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 39i – sold in less than a week
- 2016 McConaghy MC31 – sold at full asking price within a week
- 2003 Sydney 32 – sold at close to asking price
- 1983 Cole 49 – under contract this week
- 1974 Currawong 30
This month we also have a number of new boats arriving for commissioning and handover to the new owners in Melbourne, including:
- Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 349 (already in the water and to be kept at Sandringham Yacht Club)
- Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 389 (to be kept at Marina Yarra’s Edge)
- Jeanneau Merry Fisher 1095 (potentially being kept at Sandringham Yacht Club)
- Jeanneau Merry Fisher 695 series 2 – (kept at owner’s property)
With the sale of our last Marlin 895 this week, that only leaves 1 x Marlin 695 left for delivery late this year plus 1 x Sun Fast 3300 with an alloy rig that will be available late June.
