Melbourne businessman, Dr John Raff has found a unique way to maintain his passion for an Australian Rules Football team the Western Bulldogs and his love for sailing. John maintains his support for his club throughout the summer and winter sailing seasons, by ‘flying the flag’ on his Sun Odyssey 42 Deck Saloon – Western Sun.
John has owned his Jeanneau for less than three years and has already become an accomplished participant in a wide range of sailing events around the Melbourne waterfront with divisional wins in yacht club events and organised passage racing. John has also been a regular competitor in the charity event known as ‘The Variety Splash‘, an event held on Port Phillip to raise money for the Variety Club charity.
A former motor boat owner and also a current owner of a Port Phillip Net Boat, John enjoys all aspects of sailing and this winter wants to see his beloved Western Boys succeed on and off the water.
