The most recent addition to Jeanneau’s great line of cruising sailboats, the Sun Odyssey 349, and the new race boat, the Sun Fast 3600, have each been nominated for the much coveted title of “European Yacht Of the Year 2015.”
Selected by a jury comprised of the biggest names in European marine magazines, this trophy – which recognizes the seaworthy qualities, design and build quality of sailboats – will be awarded at the Düsseldorf boat show next January, during a very special evening event that brings marine professionals together from around Europe.
The Sun Odyssey 349 and the Sun Fast 3600 are among the 5 finalists in their respective categories: the Sun Odyssey 349 is nominated in the “Family Cruiser” category and the Sun Fast 3600 is nominated in the “Performance Cruiser” category.
The European Yacht Award is an initiative begun by the German magazine, Yacht, and featuring an international jury, in cooperation with Yachting World, N&Y, Waterkampioen, Batnytt, Yachtrevue, Seilas, La Factoria Nautica, Voile Magazine, Baadnyt, and Marina.ch magazines.
